LibraryLibrary K-2: Students focus on care and use of books, the difference between fiction and non-fiction, and author studies to encourage a lifelong love of reading.  Library instruction includes oral story telling, retelling of stories, and support of reading comprehension strategies.

Library 3-5: Students work to locate and use information effectively in order to complete assignments, explore ideas, and satisfy a variety of reading interests.  Library instruction is designed to foster enjoyment of reading and to create lifelong learners who are able use the library independently to access and evaluate information.
